I’ve just published an update on a new digital service we’ve launched at DVLA and what we’re doing to make it simpler and clearer for users.

Alongside the Vehicle Tax and SORN beta services that we launched in February, we also released an updated version of our Vehicle Enquiry Service.

This service lets you find out information about a vehicle such as its vehicle excise duty rates, fuel type and CO2 emissions.

As we’ve looked at our data, we’ve noticed that lots of users are trying to find out if a vehicle is taxed. So we’ve made this information clearer and put it right at the top of the page along with the expiry date.
